    In terms of the visitor numbers and size, the Frankfurt christmas Market is one of the most important Christmas markets in Germany. The elaborate and creative stand decorations, the scenis surroundings of the Römerberg and Paulsplatz and the huge christmas tree also make it one of its most beautiful.

    Frankfurt’s museum scene is one of the largest and most varied in Germany. Twenty-six museums conveniently located in close proximity to each other and within walking-distance of the city centre form the heart of Frankfurt’s museum scene. The Museumsufer Frankfurt [Frankfurt Museum Embankment] located between Eiserner Steg and Friedensbrücke comprises 13 museums by the river alone and just as many and more in the vicinity. Since the end of 2007, these institutions have presented themselves under the joint “Museumsufer Frankfurt”-logo. The seven bridges symbolized in the logo stand for the cross-linking of the museums and their manifold keynotes, for the connecting function between art and culture.
